The case files

Six real mysteries

The Voynich Manuscript

A mysterious book of plants, stars, bathing figures and looping signs. Begin by deciding what the pages show, what their catalogue records and what remains an interpretation.

Linear A

Administrative contexts can tell us something even when a language remains elusive. Find the line between useful partial knowledge and a complete reading.

The Phaistos Disc

A clay disc arranges impressed signs in spirals. Repeating groups invite an explanation, but the explanation must remain separate from the pattern.

Indus Inscriptions

Animal imagery and short sign sequences share a seal. Read the museum’s careful wording before turning a familiar-looking image into a linguistic key.

Rongorongo

Old timber has a history before anyone carves it. Separate what a radiocarbon sample measures from the story you might tell about the inscription.

The Rohonc Codex

A manuscript record and a published code proposal answer different questions. Follow the proposal without treating publication as proof of consensus.

Honest limits

What it doesn't do

Original MORI games and source-based AI case review do not decipher the historical texts or establish scholarly consensus. Manuscript viewers open their custodians; notes and progress remain browser-owned. Scholarly and actual-device acceptance remain open.

Where it's going

Not built yet Planned

Verified facsimile tools, transcription comparisons, larger corpora and independently tested reading proposals could deepen the archive.

Yes. There is no paid tier, no paywall and no subscription anywhere in MORIverse.

Are there ads?

No. MORIverse has no ad code.

Do you track me or sell my data?

We will never sell your data; that is our commitment. MORIverse's own code has no analytics or trackers. One thing is still being finished: the web host we use today sets its own bot-check cookies on every page, and those only go away when we move to our own server.

Where is my work saved?

In this browser on your device (local storage). It is not uploaded to us. Clearing your browser data clears it, so download anything you want to keep.

What doesn't it do yet?
